Overview:

The MSA2012sa presents a very compelling solution for the cost-conscious customers, or for small branch-office ESX implementations. Its performance is on par with comparable Fibre Channel products, however there is no switching infrastructure required and requires very inexpensive HBAs versus Fibre Channel ones. Its only disadvantage is lack of expandability.
