Overview:
The latest Microsoft MapPoint add-in connects Microsoft SQL Server spatial data directly to MapPoint. Now, MapPoint can now act as an easy, quick, powerful visualization tool for geographic and spatial data stored in SQL Server, which gives both SQL Server and MapPoint a competitive edge in the spatial market. The presenter of this webcast demonstrate the features of the add-in while making a map using SQL Server data, and then the presenter display the results of a spatial analysis performed with SQL server and show interactions between MapPoint and SQL server data.
