Overview:
Prudential, a financial services company faced the challenge was to realign product centric systems and create a customer-centric platform across the organization. The solution was One Customer Database (OCDB), a central repository of customer, product holding, address details and data protection information for sales, marketing and customer service. The OCDB is fully integrated with back-end systems. It holds 40 million records that comprise up-to-date customer and product details. It supports bidirectional update of data. The Wipro team also built other services to enable user interactions, messaging features for real-time updates and a contact management solution. The key benefits were enhanced customer responsiveness, integrated sales and marketing and customer service initiatives.
