Overview:

Motorola's High Performance Data (HPD) technology is flexible and cost effective, providing wide-area coverage to support graphics and text-based applications. HPD works as a standalone system, an upgrade from an existing data network or integrated with an ASTRO 25 platforms to take advantage of the cost benefits of an integrated voice and data network. HPD is an IP-based network that can be seamlessly integrated with other IP-based technologies to minimize cost and maximize capabilities throughout an agency's coverage area. The HPD network enables the network control, security, redundancy, coverage guarantee, and reliability required by public safety users. This solution brief describes HPD solutions and how they can fit into an overall strategy for mission critical public safety voice and data communications.
