Overview:

The State of Nebraska wanted to replace the 25-year-old legacy system with a statewide financial management system to standardize processes and enable real-time data access and put all human resource data online. The challenge was to minimize paper-based processes and automate purchasing processes. The State of Nebraska worked with Oracle Partner IBM to implement Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications for financial management, human capital management, and supply chain management as the basis of the statewide Nebraska Information System (NIS) and used JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management for general accounting across all 80 state agencies, boards, and commissions.
