Overview:

For years, the LCRA depended on paper-based work orders to manage its many responsibilities. The manual data entry processes caused bottlenecks and inaccuracies, and the LCRA needed a mobile solution that offered versatility and configurability to meet the company's data management requirements. LCRA leaders reviewed a number of mobile vendors' solutions and piloted several different tools before settling on a Windows Mobile-based solution from Microsoft Certified Partner Syclo, Syclo SMART Mobile Suite for Maximo, which now helps LCRA personnel to move, capture, and manage complete, accurate data while mobile.
