Overview:
Colorcon wanted to improve the global company's ability to manage variability of its manufacturing processes to ensure product consistency and customer confidence and provide the IT foundation required to scale Colorcon's business while improving sales and customer service effectiveness. The challenge was to streamline compliance to regulations governing the health sciences industry and ensures rapid and convenient, yet secure, access to critical manufacturing, sales and supply chain information. Colorcon deployed a single instance of Oracle E-Business Suite applications to deliver high levels of customer service, improve manufacturing precision, and facilitate regulatory compliance and deployed Oracle Portal and Oracle Internet Directory to create a personalized experience for system users that enables them to quickly and conveniently get to the information they require.
