Overview:
Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design wanted to build a unified information management platform that can be adapted for future business requirements and allow the group to adopt best practice business processes to improve efficiency and standardize financial management and account set-ups across the group and centralize budget management to the Shanghai head office to improve cost control. The challenge was to streamline project management to prevent overspending and centralize Human Resources (HR) management to head office. Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design consolidated the head office and 16 subsidiaries onto a single financial, project, and HR management platform based on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.0.4 and unified accounting books and structures across the group, delivering consistent data that enabled financial analysis at enterprise level.
