U-Media Communications wanted to automate the design-to-production process to ensure manufacturing workflows are not interrupted when staff leave the company or are absent from the office and ensure product item numbers are attached to each order and eliminate the need for manual intervention when product item numbers are duplicated? The challenge was to consolidate data from multiple systems in a single repository. U-Media Communications engaged Oracle Certified Advantage Partner AdvancedTEK International to implement Oracle's Agile Product Lifecycle Management to streamline the manufacturing process and cut time-to-market by 30% by centralizing order and product information; automating design, approval, and production workflows; and minimizing delays caused by human error.
