Overview:

The Securities and Commodities Authority is a government agency that protects and regulates the financial markets in the United Arab Emirates. Established in 2000, it employs 135 people. The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is the government body responsible for regulating the financial markets in the Untied Arab Emirates (UAE). In 2008, it virtualised several physical servers using the Windows Server 2008 Enterprise operating system with Hyper-V virtualisation technology. With its adoption, the SCA has reduced operational expenses by an estimated 60 per cent and significantly improved employee efficiency.
