Overview:

First Data in Greece provides services to financial institutions including financial transactions. In the era of web innovation and the need for transactions over the web in order to provide services through different channels, like customer web portals or automatic payment machines, traditional approaches cannot be used. Solution First Data designed a new service using WCF and .NET v3.5 SP1 and guidance from Microsoft Consulting, taking advantage of the capabilities of this technology. On a very tight schedule, the First Data in Greece Software team in association with Microsoft Hellas Consulting were able to design the application architecture, add the desired new features, and deliver a high-quality solution dynamic enough to support all of the existing customers and set the new era of First Data's services to its customers.
