Overview:

AppGuard Technology employs a different approach from that of legacy defenses, which rely on signatures to identify incoming malware. In principle, this signature-based approach does not trust the practically infinite variety of files and communications of a computer. AppGuard Technology, on the other hand, does not trust the applications that process these files and communications. It protects the critical resources of the host from the harm that would come when one or more of them are compromised. Ultimately, this is a far more practical approach. AppGuard Technology is unique in its approach to deterring zero-day malware. It represents a prioritized defense with a focus on usability.
