Overview:

The increase in information security threats targeting the Web channel is astounding. With security vendor Sophos reporting discovery of one new infected Web page every 5 seconds, it estimate that the Web is now the vehicle for 60% of all malware and intrusion attempts against enterprise computing systems. The Web channel of communications is rapidly becoming the predominant target for today's hackers. It's not difficult to understand why this is the case.
