Overview:
The Internet has grown so rapidly that the IPv4 standard can no longer support the number of users and functions. Features such as Network Address Translation (NAT) can help overcome address-space limitations, but they also make bidirectional communication for primary triple-play (data, voice, and video) applications more challenging.
