Burlington Electric Department, a municipal electric utility serves about 16,000 residential and 3,600 commercial customers in the City of Burlington, Vt. The company wanted to enable engineers to handle high-bandwidth, image-intensive applications at an affordable price-point. On recommendation of Ormsby's Computer Systems, Burlington Electric Department implemented high-powered HP xw4550 Workstations which provided faster data processing and file handling.
