Overview:

Situated in the Metropolitan Borough of West Yorkshire, Leeds is home to 750,000 residents and is also the workplace of 100,000 commuters. Determined to take a lead in energy saving issues, Leeds City Council (LCC) set itself a target to reduce energy costs by 5.6 per cent a year. LCC deployed a holistic approach that focused not just on managed print or server virtualisation but on the whole lifecycle of their technology. The result is that Leeds has become a green leader in the local government community and they acknowledge the important part played in that by best-in-class vendors such as HP.
