Overview:
Disasters are never scheduled, but they are always unpredictable and, for the most part, inevitable. Businesses rely on their corporate data more than ever - from the early stages of design and development, to shipping a product to customers. To decrease risk and enhance data protection, businesses must address what steps to take before - and after - a disaster occurs and data loss has been experienced. A thorough backup and recovery plan is a necessary component to include in the overall business continuity plan. There are many causes for data loss, but the most common are hardware failures, natural disasters, human disasters, viruses, Trojans and software issues.
