Overview:

With campus security a universal concern for schools, Treviglas Community College, which emphasizes personalized learning through an innovative curriculum, has long taken a proactive approach. To resolve its security issues, the school needed to make cost-conscious choices. It realized it could eliminate the major expense of installing fresh coaxial cabling across school grounds by deploying a network-wide IP-Surveillance solution. College deployed 3Com Switch 4400 PWR which assisted Treviglas easily and economically enhance its oversight of student activities, reducing vandalism and incidences of inappropriate behavior. Its state-of-the-art IP video surveillance system monitors buildings and grounds and transports all video feeds over the LAN to storage devices.
