Overview:

Bahrain's Ministry of Education (MoE) skillfully oversees 200 schools nationwide serving 116,000 students. Carrying this tradition of academic achievement into the 21st century, the MoE launched a cutting-edge e-learning initiative designed to prepare its students for future success by providing them with an advanced computer-based curriculum. By 2011, all 200 schools in Bahrain are required to implement a comprehensive e-learning course of study, giving every student nationwide access to the numerous benefits of an education driven by IT. After consulting with 3Com's sales team and the MoE's reseller, Fakhroo Electronics (http://www.fakhroo.com), the ministry chose 3Com switches and wireless network solutions for their ease of management, flexible performance, and superior business value.
