Overview:

To get the highest performance, one needs to understand a storage system's workload. This includes knowledge of the host applications. One should understand how applications are generating 110. The workload may be simple, coming from a single application: it might also be complex, meaning it is generated by more than one application on one or more hosts with different 1.0 profile. One needs to know the throughput. Bandwidth and required response time of 1.0 to determine the needed performance.
